Admittance and Services

Visiting hours: Tuesday to Sunday from 10:00 to 17:00. Entrance fee $41 MXP. Children under 13, students, teachers and senior citizens presenting a valid ID, do not pay. Free admission: Sunday. There is a fee if you are willing to shoot with a video camera.


This museum opened in 1976. The history of the Puebla region is reflected here, from the first settlers and cultivators, the Pre Hispanic cutures, being Cholula one of the most important cities, contemporary of Tajin and Teotihuacan; the Colonial age, Independency struggle and Revolution of 1910 periods are also represented in the collection, including the replica of the first baptismal font, archaeological findings, ethnographic objects and  historic documents.
